On the top of three springs (22A275) sit the special "bolts" that are used to bolt the flange (2A3651) to the housing (22A87).  Anyone have a part number/name for these bolts?

You know, I never considered actually using one of these along with one of the factory lightened flywheels!  It's not that uncommon to find the two piece ones with hammered hubs!  Those old hubs are by far the lightest of any of the originals, including the much more compact Verto style.

I hear you on moving!  I can't contemplate what I would do with my collection of 'survivor cars' and all of THEIR vast assortments of extra parts, let alone my Mini stuff!

I'm sure Don is still interested in complete pre Verto flywheels, but I will give you $15 each for the 850 hubs and cover shipping if you'd like that many fewer things to move!  My Cooper Road Mini Fabrication shop might have to make some pullers.  Or I might combine one with a very light flywheel and show the result... I can certainly machine the 'shelf' for the diaphragm spring.

I'll make one for about $100 if I have a hub, plus about $10 for the enormous grade 8 hardware. $80 if you send me a hub you'd like to use - and i can make one for the Verto flywheels the same way - (plus hardware).  I have a new series of short videos (not up yet) showing me taking off a very stuck race flywheel using my own 'prototype' puller (just a standard old hub without the cool "lightening holes"),  and if anyone wants to chase down Air2Air, he got to see it in action where we had to use heat to get his flywheel off with a bang!
So if you supply the rare and useless hub it's $100.00 or $80.00 if hub is supplied, so the math says the rare and useless hub has a value of $20.00.  I never said machining was cheap, but then 40 - 50 years ago there was not a large supply of used parts.  From your post on the 10th - "oooh what do you want for those obsolete 850 center hubs"...
I noticed them in the photo.... Understand that I have made these for friends by special request!  I'm not flogging them on ebay or anywhere, but if somebody wants one, I thought I could send them to you!

Still, If it was me, I'd put together your 3 complete kits and offer them for far greater value to the restoration market.  It was a perfectly fine clutch arrangement, but much more expensive to produce than the super simple later diaphragm spring style. The available GPC204 clutch disk works perfectly fine if you have all the other bits!

I find it funny you show up once a month to harm me and I have been here the last 17 years answering questions and enjoying the board and people. At first I wanted to satisfy you and give you the parts you feel are missing. When you started asking for parts that were never with me I realized there would be no solution. Show me your written inventory list of parts you dropped off on the side of the road seven years ago now. And why would a simple engine and tranny rebuild require a full size Ford P/U bed full of parts. Should I find anything that may belong to you I will take it out to the dumpster and take pictures of it leaving. No never stole or sold anything not mine. Steve (CTR)

66Cooper.... Thanks for the offer of the flywheel hubs!  People usually come up with one if they want me to make them a puller... And, they will have more value if you grind the step for the diaphragm spring, as so many of the original hubs have been cold-welded onto cranks and damaged.
Jemal - As I cannot remember the who/where/when or the cost of having the hub modified and haven't used this type of clutch since the 70's I doubt it will make the "bucket list" of things to do before ... if I had one.  It's just you had asked about them.  As you say they are rare I have 5, along with at least 3 sets of the springs (been out of the clutch for around 30 years), 4 of the housings, 6 of the flanges, 4 sets of the special bolts (go on top of 3 springs to hold the flange ... so basically enough to put together at least 3 complete assemblies.
Anyway, I was going to ask how much for the puller?

Minimans is this what you are looking for? (see pictures).
So is the light weight for sale?
yes
two days ago I sent you an email, but then I sent several pictures with it and thought it might have gone to your junk/spam folder or just be rejected, so yesterday I sent another email without the pictures.  If you did not get it my email is in my profile.

I would not think it would be the springs that fail... and yes, it's probably possible to machine the shoulder for the diaphragm spring.... but just how much work is it worth?  New or used correct flywheels are not that expensive!
