I have just acquired a 2007 Minicooper S convertible. The black seats are vinyl and do not "breathe" They are so hot and my clothes are damp by the time I arrive at my distination. Are there any type of slip covers or replacements to leather seats?

I have a 2003 Mini S, with 54000+/- miles. I have had it serviced regularly. How often should I have my timing belt changed and what can I do to increase my gas milage?

I have an 05 mini cooper s that also has these buttons. They were made for bluetooth and phone before the bluetooth technology had really taken off. I was told the only way to get them to work was to get a very expensive conversion kit for it :(

trying to work out what model mini I have the body number on the radiator panel in 9 numbers long and starts with YG2 the hand break is from an import, the normal classic mini didn't fit I was also given the roof bows for the roof liner out of a classic min ( which they did fit in ) but the are too short for mine.It also has a 5 number body number. The body looks like the round nose classic mini.
James, Not much to go on! They YG2 number is not a body number but is the Chassis number, now more commonly called the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). It is from an Australian built car and could be an Australian Cooper S.

I am totally refurbishing a mini 1974, i bought the full electrical harness but can't find the electrical plan for the car. Can anyone help?
Samer, I have a friend who quite correctly says that if you can afford the car, you can afford the workshop manual! See the Haynes manual under part number 646 on the Mini Mania web site. Along with the wiring diagrams, you'll find much more you'll need to refurbish your Mini.
Hello I just bought a 62 austin mini woody wagon. the guy wrecked it pretty hard. the front clip needs replaced, and also is there a place i can get the windshield posts? the car was restored and driven about 5 miles before it was wrecked, engine looks good and i got tons of extras. any ideas on the front half of a mini that might be junked somewhere? also have a 77 mg midget i would like to trade or sell. thank you

I am beginning restoration of a "64 Cooper 1071S and as I proceed have devloped a few questions. the car is rare for many reasons and while I'm not necessarily intent on a "heritage" work I wonder what advice I might solicit in this respect. I raced this car in Africa and Texas (1969-72) resulting in non original and missing components. Tail lamps are Fiat, the original engine color was green, I want it red. Ii Also I would think octane offered by ehthanol might work fine with the demands of this engine. Has anybody tried this? This site looks informative probably will return. AJ

I HAVE A 08 COOPER S LOOKING FOR SOME INFO ON WHERE IN THE ENGINE BAY IS THE BEST PLACE TO DRAW 12V , LOOKING TO ADD SOME LED BEHIND THE UPPER AND LOWER FRONT GRILL...THX
Mini Mania: Tap power off parking light circuit - Or you can find a 'switched' source in the engine bay fuse box. Probably won't need a relay for LED's.
