NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs are the latest OE Spark Plug Design.  They Feature a Laser Welded 0.8mm Iridium center electrode along with Laser Welded Platinum on the Ground Electrode providing the strongest ignitability and the longest life possible.

Notes:

As modern engines become more efficient and compact, engine components such as Spark Plugs are required to become smaller too. NGK have recognised this and assisted by developing Bi-Hex Spark Plugs.

Traditionally, Spark Plugs have been designed with a hexagonal socket style. The Bi-Hex design provides increased strength compared to a traditional hexagonal design, allowing for a more compact spark plug without compromising strength requirements.
