Can the ball be removed? I would need to switch it with a 2" ball.

Question:
I have a New MINI Cooper S Convertible (F57). I see that you have a trailer hitch that will fit my car. What I cannot figure out is where/how I would connect safety towing chains for a lightweight kayak trailer I plan to purchase. Do the chains connect to the hitch or to the frame of the vehicle? If it is to the frame, where are the connection points? Is there another part I need to make it work? I think I have everything figured out except for this.
Answer:
Okay, the attachment point for the safety chain is on the drawbar. So, whichever drawbar you choose to use, make sure it has the attachment point for the safety chain.

You Gotta Admit...one of the best things about having a MINI is the massive selection of available upgrades. Exterior trim, interior trim, performance upgrades for engine, suspension, brakes and more. You would be hard-pressed to find another car with more customization options. These upgrades, both aftermarket and OEM, make it easy (and fun) to personalize your MINI to match your you-niqueness.
