Why change your springs? Performance minded MINI drivers want the best they can get! The MINI Cooper factory set-up is very good but is still a compromise for absolutely all drivers, even those that will regularly load four adults or only drive their MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S to the theater.

Fits the following models:

2009-2014 R57 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible
2013-2015 R59 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Roadster

NM RSα progressive rate spring kits provide a responsive ride, sharper handling characteristics and lowered ride height. Using exacting spring rates and precision manufacturing techniques, RSα springs provide a more pleasurable motoring experience. These springs lower ride height approximately 1.2", providing improved handling while retaining excellent ride quality.

This means better appearance with maximum driving comfort in normal operation and sporty, progressive tuning on the track.

NOTE: Lowering springs will add negative camber to the rear. For best results, you should add adjustable rear control arms to correct the rear camber after lowering your car. If you choose not to correct the rear camber, your rear tires will wear unevenly and require early replacement. The front camber is not affected. Install the rear adjustable control arms and have the alignment corrected.

You can find Adjustable Rear Control Arms here.

Question:
Want to lower my 2012 MINI Cooper Hatchback. What is the best way using springs only?
Answer:
The best way would be just with some lowering springs. We have some great ones here part number g2nms2115
https://www.minimania.com/part/G2NMS2115/
You can lower them with only those springs but you may have some uneven wear on the rear wheels. You can fix that with some new rear control arms if it becomes an issue but that is optional. You can see those here https://www.minimania.com/part/G2NMS2111/Mini-Cooper-Control-Arm-Nm-Adjustable-Gen1-Gen2-R50-R52-R53-R55-R56-R57-R58-R59
