This product was introduced because at the introduction of the Gen 2 models (2007), vendors did not offer performance shocks. Using these adapters, the Gen 1 (2002-2006) shocks could be fitted to the Gen 2 models.

If your performance shocks are designed for the Gen 2 models, you won't need these adapters.
