Notes:

As modern engines become more efficient and compact, engine components such as Spark Plugs are required to become smaller too. NGK have recognised this and assisted by developing Bi-Hex Spark Plugs.

Traditionally, Spark Plugs have been designed with a hexagonal socket style. The Bi-Hex design provides increased strength compared to a traditional hexagonal design, allowing for a more compact spark plug without compromising strength requirements.

See the Professional Grade Bi-Hex Spart Plug Socket here.

Mini Cooper Spark Plug Application Guide. Spark plug technology has improved and the modern plugs lasts longer than in the past but they do wear down. Since a worn spark plug can affect your fuel efficiency, we recommend you inspect them regularly and replace when they start to show signs of wear.
