StopTech® Cryogenic Treated Front Right Slotted Sport Rotor - the one-piece performance upgrade rotors from StopTech, the best aftermarket performance upgrade rotors cryogenically treated for improved performance and extended life.  The added cost of the Cryo Treated Rotors will pay for itself with the extended life of both the rotors AND pads, with no significant change in braking effectiveness.

Left side is the drivers side and right side is the passenger side in USA model MINIs.

Sold Individually.

Front Rotor: 330mm x 26mm (12.99 x 1.02 inches)

Fits the following GP models:

2013 R56 GP MINI Cooper S Hatchback

Note:  This rotor may also fit other models with the factory GP Brakes opion P7KHA.

JCW GP Brakes - this rotor fits the GP Brakes shown below:

Cryogenic treatment is a one-time stress relief process that involves both cold and heat cycling of the brake rotor. Using a proprietary computer-controlled process over a 24-hour period, the cryo machine gradually cools the rotors down to -300 º F, then gradually brings them up to over +300º F, and finally back to room temperature. This conditioning of the rotor permanently improves the performance and wear characteristics while extending rotor life. Cryo treatment typically adds 5-7 business days for processing.

StopTech® recognizes that great brakes need to look as good as they perform. Performance wheels and tires are best complemented with StopTech® Slotted, Cross-Drilled or Drilled & Slotted Sport Rotors.

StopTech® slotted, drilled and drilled & slotted brake rotors prevent glazing of the pads, add bite and improve wet and dry braking performance.

Every StopTech® Sport Rotor is produced from a high quality Centric Parts® blank casting and finished in a durable e-coating for corrosion resistance.

FEATURES

  • Direct replacement, stock-sized rotors that fit stock calipers
  • Increased initial bite response
  • Improved wet weather response
  • Reduced brake pad glazing
  • OE vane designs, including casting part line location
  • Machining designs engineered for optimal rotor integrity
  • Double-disc ground for a consistent friction surface and better pad bed-in
  • Mill-balanced for vibration-free performance
  • Black e-coating on non-friction surfaces provides lasting, attractive looks
  • Enhances open wheel appearance

*E-Coated Finish*
Every SportStop rotor is finished with black e-coating on both sides of the hat, inside the the cooling vanes, and on the outside edge. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. This is especially important on both mounting faces of the hat where it touches the hub flange and back face of the wheel. Any accumulation of rust in these area can lead to installed lateral run out issues.

*Power Alloy Metallurgy*
Power Alloy metallurgy is exclusive feature of SportStop rotors. In specific vehicle applications, StopTech works with foundry partners to increase the molybdenum or carbon content of the castings, and to carefully control the cooling rate during production to reach targets for hardness and tensile strength.

*Cooling Vane Design*
Nearly all SportStop cross-drilled rotors have unique drilled hole patterns for the left and right sides of the vehicle. For these directional patterns, straight vane or pillar vane rotors are used to ensure that a drilled hole never touches a cooling vane.
