Scargo, I will paint it black ONLY if you pay for the paint and body work! Black, is one color that shows if bodywork has been done correctly.

macmanron - I think the wood will really make your white pop - will you have business graphics on yours? That would really spice up the look. Saw a deep red one the other day - looked great but then they all do.

Mine is white with a red interior, the only reason to keep it white is the red interior (cheaper to do as I have the interior as you do) - I'll do a red top to offset the stark white plain body - Anyone know the correct white for a MK1 1967 ribbed roof Tinny? - my interior is red & in good shape so no changes except red leather buckets if I can find them - I have one Recaro that I may recover in red leather if I can find a couch to strip. If I have wheels on mine, I may do a single old school racing stripe (vinyl graphic applied, not painted), don't know if my mamba's or S wheels will fit over my self-concocted disk brakes. I do have a nice set of stock wheels and full hubcaps - I like the stock look on a Mini - especially a plain wagon. I have a blak n white checkered hood which actually looks good, my kids think that a checkered roof is cool.

red on red is a bit too much... what if you meet a bull?

with the wood and the red interior, i think gray or dark blue would look nice, or even El Paso beige with the wood stained a darker brown... that would be something new! otherwise, BRG also looks nice with a red interior..

Hi Ron,

Red and Grey look great together in the interior. You might want to go with a "Classic" Grey exterior color as well???                                     Mini Estate

STILL Waiting on my heritage cert. but I am very sure that the car was white. I'm not sure I will repaint it white though. Seems like there are alot of white ones out there. I am planning on the original interior, since I have a line on some original seats etc. The color for all the interior is red, so I'm trying to think of a good color other than white that will look good with the red. Any ideas? It would be cheapest for me to go with the original interior, that's my main reason. Thanks, Ron J.

Ok, here's another one. I am going to make this woody neg. ground, with an alternator. The thing is it is set up for a floor start, and I kinda wanted to keep it that way. Would a regular cooper alt. harness work with that??

Rear seat in mine is almost like new, fronts were trashed. Anyone happen to have any good red front covers?? I'm not sure if there is a difference in the style of woody seats compared to sedan seats??
