No such EPA label ever existed but I have seen  label  on the Minis that went to Canada in 70s and early 80s.

I fear you're about to discover how difficult it can be to register a post-67 Mini in California.

They don't meet the EPA regs.

Import of new classic Minis to the U.S. ceased before there were EPA vehicle emissions requirements, so there never was an EPA emissions sticker for classic Minis.

Does anybody have, or has anybody ever seen an EPA compliance or engine family sticker under the hood of a classic mini cooper? I've seen them on Rover minis, but never on anything pre-80's. We are currently in the process having a VIN verification done on a 72 mini from outside of CA, and the DMV is asking for an under hood emissions label. As far as I can tell there is no such thing, nor has there ever been. Does anybody have any idea of that the emissions or engine family number would be? Not a tune up or carb adjustment sticker, or a vacuum diagram or anything like that, but a vehicle emissions label.
