I have been busy and not here much. There was a thread about the perfect Moke. I had it saved but can't seem to find it.
I know BC was around recently wonder if it and he got booted. Oh well. Steve (CTR)

Turns out it's worse than I though. Looks like I have 7 maybe 8 4 synchro remotes. Since four are already stripped
I'm thinking about stripping the rest and having all the broken fins repaired. Then replace the shift forks and
assemble the shifting rods. One will be a magic wand for my Moke. I have been using AA 1128s for the Mokes but
I'm out. If there is interest in a std or custom 1128 build let me know.

Not much luck looking for a tire. Guess I'll order a set I'll run them just don't know if on 6 or 6.5 wheels. Steve (CTR)

Tire in question A032R 165/10 Yoke. I'd like to mount one and fit it before sending these wheels out for powder coat and
we paint the shell. Would be nice to find out what flare will just cover the tread at top of tire.

Pulling parts for this build I have 5 ea 4 synchro remotes with shift housings. I have std ratio, S/GT close ratio, SC/CR synchro,
and JKD involute multi spline standing start Dog Box gear sets. Std diff cages A and A+ Cross pin MSC, Evolution Trannex posi
a selection of CWPs for both posi and open diff.

The current project is getting case cleaned threads checked and helicoiled as required. May or may not weld up fins. New S/GT
ratio first motion shaft, new third motion shaft, new S/GT lay gear and upgraded lay shaft. New shift hub springs, new high
grade synchros, new shift forks. All bearings and races, A+ diff cage with hi grade pin and new spiders. 3.9 CWP rebushed diff
side covers. As all builds a center oil pickup tube. I'm thinking a windage tray as well. This will go under a high reving 1071. Steve (CTR)

I'm doing my first personal build in 20 years. The last was CTR/ALEX resting inside waiting a turn again after 176,000 miles.
The 66 shell has had the rear wheel wells opened up. This is an old trick to allow the rear to be lowered without touching the
flange. We are working on the front and can set the radius as we please. I'd like to think I'll get the opening correct before
paint. I have found a set of mini lite 6.5 X 10s I'd like to run with the ten inch sticky Yokos CN 36 or something like that. If
someone has a take off I could mount and check I'd be glad to pay shipping and costs. Contact info in profile. Steve (CTR)
