Yes, for sure. I assumed you were going toward the red light cuz going fast past could be invisible. You  are correct; Mr. Doppler says so.

I like in tsumini's engine photo that a big white BMW and a bigger white Dodge truck appear to have been pushed to the back of the shop in favour of making a Mini engine look nice!

1st photo is my feeble attempt at mixing and trying to match Rustoleum paint to the valve cover which turned out to be a waste of time so went to Sherwin Williams and had them match to the valve cover with their oil based satin paint. The head is Sherwin Williams;  block is the feeble attempt.
2nd photo completed paint but masked valve cover.
3rd photo SW can of matched paint. The code on the side should be pretty close if someone wants to try it. It matched the valve cover pretty well.

You just inspired me to paint my engine today. Did it in the rustoleum red. The rover engine color is way orange. But what the heck , I now have a very good looking red engine. Painted it in situ, just moving the coil.

The red of late engines is not easy to match. If I recall I found a tractor color at Tractor Supply. Strange as it sounds
I think it was a John Deere color ( I know Deere are Green but I think it was ) Steve (CTR)

Even though I have a 1963 Austin Mini, it has a 90s 1275cc engine which I would like to repaint, what color red is it and where can I buy?
