I don't know either, but in the video and the dusty collection garage shot, there is an all-white Mini behind the Cooper S - it has the valance without the cutouts AND Canadian-style front bumper and side marker lamps.

Great to see you as well. You can call me the lurker-in-chief lol. I’m glad to hear about taking the ‘87 to the next level. Please post or email  some photos...

I realize the 1071 Cooper is rare and highly collectible and could fetch a shockingly high amount in todays market but it would need to be something special. The 1071 Cooper S on Ebay that only has 30k miles on it and only one owner since new seems like a better candidate but at $85k it hasn't sold. Maybe at $60k it would but who knows. I don't see a 1071 S advertised for $60k with 3 pictures of only the outside and a few sentences about it including the fact it needs a rebuild worth even a phone call. If you want a premium for your car at least tell me why other than it has never been in an accident or welded. If it were me and I thought the car was worth 60k I would have put a lot more information about it in the ad.

Maybe his wife demanded he sell it. He's "complying".

I tried making a link out of the address given, but got weird results and unsafe site warnings. Not sure why.

I did copy the address he gave into my browser's address line and it worked fine.

Am I crazy for thinking this 1071 S is way over priced? I'd have a hard time considering 60K even if the engine was in it and rebuilt.
