Other than adding a few BHP (Bar Horse Power, as in bragging right at the bar) I'd stick with the SUs.
If you're not confident in tuning the twins (I'm assuming HS2s) consider an HS4 or an HIF44 depending on the state of tune of the engine.

Also if your bulkhead does not have a box you need a swan neck manifold which decreases the efficiency.
If you don't like the twins a HIF 44 would be a better bet imo.

Austin MINI 1972. I have a dual SU set up on my 1275. Think about going to a weber. Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated
