This is not exactly a long delayed project in itself, but I decided I wanted to learn how to weld while trying to rescue a VW 411. It was probably destined to be crashed, but I somehow liked the quirky looks of it. Yes, it is crusty and who knows what hidden horrors I will find, but I think it is worth giving it a try. I do not hope to get it running any time soon, though,
cheers,
Abel

Yep, Completley  see and doing the same
Working form home myself,. Time to dip into other things to also entertain the family.

Was given a broken 116 Chassis Mercedes=  Mothballed for about a year = now a driver.
Honda C70 Scooter ressurected back to life for famly rides.
If this lasts into May ill get out that moke that hasnt' run in ~30 years... see if it has life again.
Also the honey-doo list is short those  tasks are done . ( although they are growing again with new aspirations) spring projects are tidy= garden is planted. yards are tight.

Even here the board has had a few new posters of people working on projects that havn't been touched and they need kind reminders on 'how this goes'
Cool to see.. Hope we all make it thru,

This is the first  time in 32 years I’ve had more than ten days off in a row, getting to projects that have sat for years. Besides the mini, I am working on freeing up a 1923 Kermath 20 HP marine engine, going through a 1966 Johnson 9.5 outboard, trying to repair a power supply on a LG plasma TV, patching/painting some drywall, and changing a crank shaft damper seal on a Chevy SUV. After that there are a few Velo Solex mopeds that need their turn. I have seen some new faces here also working on long delayed projects. What are you finally getting to work on?
