Interesting today I took the car out and no DSC warning light. Last night I wanted to see if I could take a sensor out and clean it but the plastic base cracked and so I decided to button it back up before creating more damage since I didn't have a replacement yet. Probably my working around the sensor temporarily jogged it back to function again. Is VDO the original manufacturer?

You may be able to find the same sensor from the manufacturer that supplies MINI for less $$ and get the same quality as the factory part.

If you go to rock auto, they indicate parts with the least returns, most sales with a heart symbol. At least it’s statistics and not a pure guess.
