Since you found this website via social media, you must be at least somewhat familiar with the concept of scammers and trolls.
So a couple of points to consider.

This is an automotive forum. You're dealing with motor heads, mostly cranky skeptical old fart types. We don't like time wasters. Not sorry.

Your post used a format that could have been cut and pasted from any of hundreds of similar spam posts. Usually it goes something like this. "I found this site and I'm really interested in your opinions about (cut and paste a word from the site name, for example MINI). Please look at my pics (insert link) here. Could it have been total coincidence that your post looked like spam? Sure, so sorry if it was not.

Then instead of posting a picture of your MINI to establish credibility and give us a clue to help you with your issue, you dropped a cheesecake photo into your post for whatever reason. Again, this is an automotive forum, not a dating site. We want to see pictures of YOUR CAR.

Even on your second post, which could have been less snarky and helped us establish that you are a real person, and looking for assistance, you once again decided to drop in another photo of, I assume, yourself. Errrmm, Car forum. Let's see THE CAR.

So don't go off in a huff, because I doubted your veracity from your first post. Just buck up and give us some details about the issue so we can possibly give you some advice (not all of which you will find helpful, but that's that nature of car forums and Mini guys in particular.)

If you want to try to 'kiss her British ASS', then you will have to get past 9 hunting dogs trained to tree mountain lions.  Good luck with that...

So, seeing how "my knowledge" due to the lack of services including Cell phone and internet which is spotty at best and slow on a good day, is limited; I reached out after finding this forum on the mini-mania website. I was looking for exterior replacement pieces for my MINI. Nine hunting dogs scratched the holy hell out of it going after a cat!

Can you imagine the amount of damage 9 hunting dogs that are trained to tree mountain lions can do to a Mini when they think it's a tree? I am I have only had it 4 months. Now that is depressing. Even more depressing was the response I received when reaching out. Not very good press for Mini-Mania where the pieces for my r-55 cannot be acquired anyway.

I found the website via social media, which I have also used to pass useful info to other owners looking for parts etc... It's a dog eat dog world and it is the least I can do even if I can't find what I need. I had hoped to find someone else in the wild wild west who has chosen to drive what they enjoy rather than a chevy with a wench and a trailer hitch. I also have an old Land Rover.

You can kiss my British ASS!

I'm sorry Reila if we offended you somehow.

We do our best to find parts and solutions for MINI / Mini owners and provide this free forum as a platform for discussions between owners and fans of the Mini. We typically leave it up to the participants to find others in specific areas and I provided our club list only as a potential tool since Mini Mania is located in Northern California.

Let us know if you have specific questions on your MINI!

Reila,

Welcome to the board and (as another Canadian) I say sorry for the rough landing. We frequently have scammers posting here, so the tendency is to be suspicious of new logins/posters. These scammers usually include a click-bait link. Another cause for concern is that you inserted the photo of a woman who does not look like the one in your profile picture. I'm not sure why you did that, but it looked more like click-bait.

Sorry to read your car got so messed up. I probably don't want to know how the cat fared.

To answer your original question Yes you probably are.
Why would you buy a BMW MINI or if you live in such a remote place with I am guessing no dealer network?
Call your insurance company (presuming you have coverage) or whoever owns the hunting dogs and they may total it or give you a decent payout and then you can get a car that can be fixed by your local garage like your neighbours or drive the Landy.
