I'm changing oil myself for the first time on my 2012 JCW. I'm using a WIX filter and when I place the filter into the cap it takes some force to get it to "snap" in place so it is held by the cap. Am I doing this correctly or does the filter not get held by the cap and simply placed in the canister on the engine and the cap screwed on over the filter?
