Studded tires??!!! 12" wheels???!!
I'm talking 10" biased-ply summer tires (from Canadian Tire, no less) on a 1968 Countryman. My daily driver to college in the early 1970's. I've got stories too.....

What Dan said!  One of my fondest memories of Minis (long long before I owned one) was a coworker picking me up in a snowstorm and us passing lots and lots of RWD cars/trucks , plowing snow all the way with tiny 12" studded winter tires.  That mini is likely long rusted away by now.

If I was younger I would. I miss driving a Mini in the snow.

As having owned two in the past, and having owned a British 91 Cooper, I acn tell you I rather have the Cord over the british counterpart.

 

Its quieter, it is safer and it is rust resistant.

 

Right now I'm looking into the possibility of bringing one into Canada, hopefully it will work out. 

Saw one of these yesterday, nice example being redone in by Mini Coopers of Miami.  Seems solid, the roof line takes some getting used to as it's missing the front and rear  roof line lip.  I'm sure there's many other differences, in the end, it's a Mini and 99% of people that see it will not know it's FG.

I'm also currently looking into the possibility of bringing a Mini Cord to Canada. Good ones are not that expensive and they are now 25 years old, but of course all the extra costs to bring them over almost double the cost of the car in Colombia.

 

Still, I think is not a bad price for a rare rust resistant Mini. Would anybody here be interested in buying a Mini Cord?

The problem is not my website but something to do with the forum.

 

My website uses a // url  but the forum, no matter what i do converts it to a https, so it will not work.

As many of you already know, I have been working for the last 18 years to keep the history of the Mini Cord, the Venezuelan made, Rover backed, GRP bodied Mini alive.
