Can you elaborate on how the engine is running at low speed? Was the car running OK until just recently? What work has been done to the car recently?

Too low an octane gasoline? Too much static advance?

Dieseling (run on) could be caused by a couple of things, a hot spot in the combustion chamber, high idle speed or improper timing come to mind. A vacuum leak could be along the intake/exhaust manifold gasket, the throttle spindle seals/bushings or carb to manifold joint. but if it were me, I'd look at timing first.

Ive got a carbed a+1275 in my mini. I think it has a vacuum leak because it did the same exact thing when when the vacuum hose came off the distributor. This time it isn't the distributor hose though and i cant find what it is. Are there any common areas fir vacuum leaks?
