Why the first post, in Spanish, to a classic Mini board?  Don't people do a little background check first?  maybe, just maybe, google this?  Going back to 2002 I don't recall any posts in Spanish, btw this will be my first and only translation as I am not going to provide an avenue for this,,,,,,,,,  HMMMM? unless there's some $$ involved for me?

So from now on MiniMania will have a translator on staff???  just some Mini parts now and then!

Okay, replacing the valve seals is typically done when servicing the cylinder head (valve job) which means the timing gear and the cylinder head need to come off the engine.

I suppose it is 'possible' to remove the timing gear, valvetrain, position the piston at top stroke, and remove the valve spring to replace the valve seal...  But I am not sure you can use a valve spring compressor with the head on the engine - never tried this.

If the valve seals are shot, I would recommend removing the head and have a proper valve job done....

Are you looking to replace the valve seals or something else on your 2005 R53 MINI Cooper S?

Maybe another Spanish speaking member can chime in with a translation...
