wille b.. yea. without a vin number. NEVER a problem with CBP.. it gets tricky when you have Vin plate on the shelll. with NO proper V5 ( UK title).. and just bill of sale.. later bc

Was just thinking that my new moke shell came in with no VIN plate no problems. It could be that it was air freight into the Atlanta airport in a crate.

Emma said it would be no problem. Problem is the seller sold the shell!!
Anyone stateside have a Jem or Mini Marcos they can live without?

What type of kit car is it? If you had a Registration document for a UK Mini, could they add a VIN plate to it and then ship it? Asking for a friend...

That's what I suspected, just looking for a loophole. The shell was never completed, hence no road registration. It also lacks its data plate, so no numbers at all.

pigpen.. I doubt it.. you can ship NEW classic mini shell from www.bmh-ltd.com with vin plate or V 5.. but CBP is going to want to know why this used shell does NOT have a vin plate or V5.. later bc
