The best we can offer is a replacement oem steering rack or a lower cost aftermarket steering rack.

sorry.  Later model   much different need.  Bmw mini.

I would also look into a used rack.  Sites like car-part.com can help you find a used part  un bolt and bolt back on the new.

Finding the flare types and fitting might make making your own more difficult.

I think I am not being understood. I need the hydraulic tubing that runs on the outside of the rack. Not the tubing that the rack itself slides inside of. I would guess it to be 6mm tubing, of course it is bend and a flange welding to it to bolt to the rack and pinion. I can replace this tubing much easier than pulling the rack and pinion, also I wouldn't have to get a front end alignment then.

What rack is it? A used housing would need a bushing. Racks are a cheap item. I can mike the out side, snap gauge the inside and there are companies who will sell you a drop. Once drop fee and cut fee material and handling you have bought it all for a couple feet. Steve (CTR)

Just saying.   A new rack is very affordable versus a tube rebuild.   Time and cost.

Does anyone know where the tubing on the rack and pinion can be purchased. The rack and pinion works fine, just have the tubing rusting through and it is starting to leak.
