Hi! The computer should store the error codes that caused the car to run in Limp Mode. These can range from inconvenient (like loose gas cap) or potentially damaging (like cylinder misfires) Once you know those codes, you can start to diagnose the problem. If you have a code reader, it's as easy as plugging it in and reading the codes.

Hello
I am new hear but owned my WORKS 05 MINI since new. anyway,. it's got about 70K on it. Today it dropped into "LIMP HOME MODE". I don't have a OPD. Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks! Bill
