My car is out of warranty and I really do not want to drive the hour and a half to the dealer, nor pay the price for them to turn off my service light. I did check the fluid which is at max, so no leaks.
So, Questions are:
1- Does the check engine light come on for the pass service on the brake fluid?
And if so, 2- Can I reset it via the BC?
Thanks in advance!

Best to use a code scanner on the OBD port to see what is triggering the light. If you don't have the tool / scanner, you should be able to go to a nearby national auto parts chain store and they should read the codes for your free of charge. Take note of the error codes which should be a letter 'P' followed by four numbers...
