 check engine light/brake fluid service

I don't believe an overdue brake fluid service would trigger the check engine light...

Best to use a code scanner on the OBD port to see what is triggering the light. If you don't have the tool / scanner, you should be able to go to a nearby national auto parts chain store and they should read the codes for your free of charge. Take note of the error codes which should be a letter 'P' followed by four numbers...

sure u can reset it, just twiddle a few things and your good. Do a search for the procedure, it's out there.
