I deal with folk on a daily basis. I work on the premise that everyone is a piece of crap scumbag until they prove otherwise, generally they prove me right. Sad, but true.

 Sorry to hear that

Over my time selling minis and mini parts, l have only been”stiffed” 2-3 times

I was in the habit of holding paper on a lot of my sales, even unsecured paper, just a signature and a handshake

But there are some “bad apples” out there, others sometime face unexpected setbacks and in those cases you just have to work with them

Funny you only remember the bad ones

you could ID him and that might serve as a warning to others who might be apt to do business with him.

had to sell my 3 yr project off to avoid forclosue.  The guy from New York seemed a good guy and when he was leaving with the project.  I offered him A complete back panel for $300, then he said all he had was $200.  I said you can take it for $200 if you send me the $50 .  We agreed.  I said it would be a cleaned and make a stronger more valuable repair.  Months  passed and I ask for the payment.  This individual said I doopped him into buying it because it was more work than the unneeded complete panel and decide I made off with his$200 and he no lo get owed the $50 we agreed on.  Selling on the car was traumatic enough, I even gave him big sheets of sheetmetal and extrac he night need. Anyways it hurts to be stiffed like this.  I know it is only $50, but the principal is the point.  Any words of wisdom to help me forget about this horrible slight.  Thanks
