It wouldn't be difficult to lock the differential gears. I imagine the output is shafted to a conventional drive axle with its own diff and final drive gear reduction. In my youth when I pulled a good 850 and stuck in a 1100, I imagined making a 4WD tractor with the two outputs each driving an axle.

Oh, so they are just using the drive shaft off of one side? Looks weird seeing it mounted sideways (or not sideways).
