several ways (as is usual) to make pic small enough to post here
(1) edit pic by crop feature. If starting at say 4 MP, you can often get it down to smaller size . Save it.
Use this saved smaller cropped image so you can post here as about 2 MP.
If you are starting at 12MP then unlikely you will crop that much off.
(2) On Windows 10 and others, you can open the pic, then right click, , the drop down menu offers RESIZE -click S, M or L. Selecting M will be for about 2 MP. Store that separately. (If you want to be sure it is smaller, right click on that stored image and look at properties.) Then you can Drag & Drop or click this newly resized smaller image using the green button (to your left on the page)
(3) some emails will automatically resize images to smaller MP. To test this, send yourself an email with the pic. Open it. Save it separately. Follow rest of instructions as in 2 above
(4) Others may offer other ways to do it.

Yeah I guess that's the problem. Now I just need to find a simple way to resize and post. Emphasis on the simple!
