Theres an earth block on the inner wing stiffener (LH as you sit in the car) IIRC 6 earth common up here and connect to the body through a plastic block.
After similar symptoms to yours, we cut the block out, soldered all the earths to proper ring terminals and bolted them to the body. All better now.

Car engines make CO2 and trees absorb CO2. By running your engine you're feeding a tree and helping the environment.

Start checking + cleaning grounds. = Scrub with wire brush + dielectric grease. A touch.
Battery Cable ground to body.
Then any or all screw down = or screw to body grounds.
There should be one or two in the trunk for the 'rear" lights.
Engine bay grounds too!

Hey friends/ Mini 40 twin point . Recently developed electrical issues
both tail lights and directionals show dim. Front directionals, bright. Sometimes left dash directional light remains lit.
Wipers work, but if headlights turned on, they slow to a stop, so both cannot be used at the same time.
right side Headlamp Bright, left dim.
before I begin , thought I would ask you all for advice as to what to look for. thanks / doug
