Yeah that might be where the fog lamps go if you have them. I just don't understand what the objects are that are in there and whether they serve any purpose.

They do appear to be plastic but are they purely decorative? I can't see why Mini would make two ports in the fender and clip these objects in there for no reason other than decoration, although it's possible.

What are the circular slatted objects in the front bumper ports directly below the front directionals? One side has become disconnected and is rattling around in there.
