Wow that's crappy. The dealer may be able to interrogate the vehicle for you to back up your actual miles claim, and fix it. I had a chevette roll the whole set of odometer numbers 3 time in 3 tenth's of a mile, it caused the dealer to roll their eyes, but they fixed it. Most likely it was due to tampering before I bought the used car.

Trying to reset my ECU or my oil change light and something went wrong I push the wrong button or something and gained a hundred and twenty thousand miles on my odometer try disconnecting my battery to reset the ECU with no positive outlook on this if somebody can please help me and tell me what to do next please respond it's a 2005 Mini Cooper S convertible
