Welcome to the forum! there are many here that race their mini's, sorry I am not one, hopefully they will reply. In the upper right is you switch from Default to Forum and hit search, with the term racing, you should find a good bit of information.

Hey guys! I'm Jonathan from the Philippines. New to racing classic minis.

I need some help with building a real classic mini race car. I tried racing a mini but with just a stock body and 1310cc block with a stock 1275 cylinder head. I have another shell which is kinda rusty, but planning to use the rusty shell to build a race. The problem is, I have no idea when it comes to mini since the races here requires a Mini block. Btw, I'm racing in 1275 class B category which means 1275cc to 1310cc blocks only. I'm also running a weber car. I'm planning to build a full race mini for class B next year. Still gonna race a 5 port before I head on to 7 or 8 ports.

Right now, I need some tips to build a classic mini race car. From engine power, cooling systems to fuel systems. Advices and opinions are much highly appreciated. I meant by a full race 5 port though running weber carb 40. I need every single tip so before I probably head to the US I know what I need to buy.

Thank you!
