Funny thing happened to me in regard blinkers. Customer called about his unit. I ran outside opened bonnet pulled my flasher which is plastic and from Autozone. I gave him the part number and replaced my unit. After a couple of days, I noticed my blinkers were not working. I cycled the four-way switch a few times and they worked but turns not so. I stopped on the side of the road pulled the unit turned it 90 degrees and they worked again. Steve (CTR)

I think if they were sealed on the back they would be a lot better.

I've heard of fuse blocks going bad but thought what could go bad. I did not throw the old one away but cleaned the underside and then soldered the three layers of metal together. All eight terminals. I might put it back in and do the same to the new one.

I eventually replaced the main fuse block. Solved the problem.

My relay was inside behind the radio, pull out radio and you should see it. Hope it helps.

Indicators and hazards use different relays, but the same lights.

Car engines make CO2 and trees absorb CO2. By running your engine you're feeding a tree and helping the environment.

I've been having the same issues, but only with the turn signals. It's been driving me nuts for months. Worked and then not work. There is a flasher relay that above the wiper motor, which I've cleaned every spade there. There is also a flasher relay tucked up under the dash by the steering column.

But that was not the problem,

the problem was with the main fuse block. It was corroding from underneath. It's the 3rd wire down. The green with orange one. I used navel jelly to clean the metal and the sprayed CRC contact cleaner. I also cleaned every spade, one at a time and added dielectric grease. That did the trick.

I have an '92 Italian Job Classic Mini, 1275, single SU carb set up.  My turn signals and emergency flashers went from intermittent to non existent.  Since all my fuses look fine, my guess is that the flasher relays have gone bad.  First of all, is that a logical guess or is a wiring/connection issue more likely.  To find the two relays, I first looked in the engine compartment to no avail.  Is my next spot behind the stock instrument cluster?
