Hopefully it is like mine and was easily repairable.  It is an easy fix if you know how to solder.

Thank you! I think I’ve read through that thread. Will give it another read. I think my relay box is bad as well.

The link below is to a thread I started for info on my SPI.  Could be useful for you.  Ended up being the relay box mounted between the ECU and fuse box on firewall.  Had one pin with an over heated solder connection.

SPI Cranks Wont Start

I think my relay pack is bad. Opened it up from suggestions and looks like water may have gotten in. I’ll try to post pictures when I get to computer

Check for spark with an old spark plug, if it sparks, then check for fuel with a shot of starting fluid.

Would the anti theft device let the engine crank but not start?

Before I saw your responses I wired the fuel pump straight to the battery and it turned on (could hear it pumping). Tried to start it and the engine cranks but still bothing. Not sure if I checked the pump relay yet... can look for that tomorrow. What is essential to plug in to get the engine running? I don’t have lights or most of the interior connected. Is there something in there I should connect?

When you switch Ignition on, does Pump give it's usual Brrrr sound when it's priming. Usually only lasts a second or 2 at most? If not...then my quick fix, was take LIVE feed from Rear Screen de-icer, and feed it to + side on the Pump. It couldn't be closer to the Tank if you'd designed it. If that works, as mine always have, then you only need to remember to keep your rear screen switch on the ON position.  It will run, pumping continiously, if you dont switch it off, when you park your car.   The Pump Relay Box is susceptible to corrosion on the contacts, so I'd check that as well. Hey guys been trouble shooting for hours. Google, forums, Haynes manual etc... my SPi is cranking but not starting. I don’t think the fuel pump is working. Been looking at wiring and fixing poor connections, checked fuses, the basic stuff. Two questions: 1. WTF is an immobilizer haha my key fob lights up and it turned on the hazards and then turns them off again and 2. A previous owner took out the the inertia fuel cut off switch and wired it into the brake master (yellow tab). Could this be part of why the fuel pump doesn’t sound like it’s on? Or could the fuel pump just be bad?
