When you mention the ABS sensor, I presume you are referring to the 'rotational speed sensor' at each hub.  The OBD code reader may or may not identify a fault with these sensors. The computer may see an unusual signal from the sensor and trigger an ABS light on the dash but the computer does not know whether the sensor has failed or if there is truly a problem with the wheel/hub/tire.  

Most OBD code readers do not identify which of the 4 sensors is sending the errant signal - only that there is an issue with one of the sensors.
Many thanks.  Have come across a couple which show the exact offending sensor based on videos from their websites.  Receiving a Foxwire today and will post results.
