In case anybody is still interested, the Mini Van model kit bodies are still available. I just finished making an Authi van for myself. With a little bit of work, you could make it into a Estate, Woody....,
cheers,
Abel

thanks Malcolm. I am thinking about making an Authi van in Willow Green similar to the ones used by BMC.

One day I hope to have the 1:1 to ply with,
cheers,
Abel

Another, similar one showed up in my emails not too long ago. Another one to make me jealous of talent others have. Mark B., the only other owner I'm aware of who owns a South African Mk 3 in North America, used a Vitesse Hornet (1/43) and came up with the only model Mk 3 I'm aware of.

Nice work Abel.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Hello all,
first of all, my apologies for such an off topic. Second, as I know there are some avid modelers on this site, I wanted to let you know that I transformed a Tamiya Austin Mini into a Mini Van. I decided to make a few resin copies of the body (no floor pan) in case anybody is interested. The bodies have a light coat of Krylon grey for better adhesion and will need to be finished (there are some imperfections, specially on one of the rear arches, and tiny bubbles from casting the resin). You will find everything to complete this van on the Tamiya kit.
Please, email me if you would like to get one of these (options include either wavy or steel grille, reverse rims with or without hubcaps, rear bumpers)
cheers,
Abel
