The mirror on the left is the correct one, not sure what the other is from other than the stem is the same.

I don't know it this was answered, but on my 62 997 Cooper the mirror glass is 5" x 2.47" x 1/8" or .125" thick, corner radius is 3/8" or .375"

Hugh Cannon / Dr Mini may know as he has a 997 Cooper.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Anyone know the dimensions of the early MK1 rear view mirror glass? And any chance there was a part number on the inside of mounting area on the mirror base?

I have found an eversure m880 mirror available and it seems to be the right base but the glass portion seems much larger than the original.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
