I have been putting my “S” back together for over 20 years now and they did the conversion in an hour - not fair!  I wish I had their knowledge and tools!

MiniTec frames can be bought either lhd or rhd.
John Mc gee at MCM Mini's builds custom Honda frames for the D series conversion and also has the correct intakes.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

I'd like to know where they bought the subframe (which company built it) and what the total build cost was. I think the MiniTec subframes have to covert a RHD to LHD. I like how they used 90 degree tubes to retro the intake verses the silicone couplers I've seen used on other builds.

I gave it about 15 minutes, then tired of all of the usual little car jokes.  But a good show if you like piercings, tattoos and bad hair cuts.

Agree with the comments so far, but powertrain swaps are common with all collector cars. As long as they spell the name right, it’s good for all mini enthusiasts.

I saw the commercials for the show and decided not to watch.  The commercials portrayed the Honda swap as something radical, new, difficult, and novel... like the guys in the conversion shop had come up with it themselves.  I hope the show was not as misleading as the commercials.

Watching it now!  I'm appalled at all the rust they left in the car.  Unreal (so far).
