Years ago I tried to fit a set of 40's on the twin cam but the BMW head intake spacing was too close. The only way you could do it ,was to make very long tapered intakes. Then I found out that BMW raced with Keihin carbs and the throttle shaft was still available. I had the fuel injection from the org. motor but the whole car was being back dated , so I could not put modern injection on it. Cheers

It's difficult to see in this pic because it's partially obscured by the fuel line. It's the standard Weber adjustable coupler, narrowed just a bit because of close port spacing.

I will second that. I run Keihin bike carbs on my twin cam 1380.

Yes, you don't have to run their injection or plenum chamber even though it is ultimately a better solution.

For the same reason, I'll be running Amals on the Arden even though injection is again a better solution.

Give them a shout as they're very friendly and helpful.

I'm from the UK.

Can you run Carbs with the Specialist Components 7 Port? I love the old fashioned way and work with Dirt Bikes that all run Carbs. Just personal preference

At some point I'm intending on doing a 7-port engine, and the Specialist Components one is what I'll be using.

Much petter port size.

looking at your profile it doesn't say where you are ... are you in Europe?  If in the US try looking at Pierce Manifolds

If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

I'm looking at a 7 Port head for my 1380cc Mini and I found one on moss-europe, has anyone had any experience with these?

Thank you
