A Moke has to be the simplest Mini to convert to LHD.
My Moke was a LHD one originally and converted to RHD before i got it and if it had not been converted it would be now. Personally i don't care for LHD in any Mini all my Mini's a RHD i just find RHD more comfortable but that's just me, different strokes for different folks.

I only found 8 things that I think are incorrect on this Moke.

Whats the general rule or guidance on rear lamps
Your car sold with 4 Red. My moke. Came to me in with 2 Amber / 2 Reds
Sotheby's car also has 2 amber / 2 red...
Are there known market conditions for the Rear lenses?

We were watching the bidding closely, there never was a fallback on the prices, it was all straight line up in value. I would have definitely noticed if that had happened. The BaT experience was excellent from start to finish.

Some bits if info on the BAT auction experience. My wife Sarah approached Sotheby’s about our Moke selling at their Amelia Island auction this past March. We used to live down there and attended the Concours, what a great experience. When we brought this Moke home we lived a mile from the Ritz Carlton. Wouldn’t it be cool to transform the Moke into a vehicle that would sell at this top notch auction? They sent a very kind gentleman up to our house to check out the Moke. A Moke is a bit low brow for this auction, but he was impressed by the condition. Low and behold they came back a few weeks later and said they wanted it. There were a few caveats (beside the fees): It was car #1 on the auction block and it had to sell at no reserve. I used to have a dealer’s license. I went to auctions and got the best deals on the first three cars that went through while everyone else seemed to be BSing and drinking coffee. We passed but kept up with the Sotheby’s contact. He emailed last night and congratulated us on the BAT sell. He said that the “Yacht Tender” Moke from the Wilson Collection sold last week for $43,500. This Moke was the subject of a post started by the Werewolf a week or two ago. Next up is a really nice Moke that Sotheby’s is auctioning off in Monaco tomorrow. I hope the link below works. I only found 8 things that I think are incorrect on this Moke.

Marks Moke and every other one he has done afaik is re built to better than new. Most restorers would have patched in panels but his shell had new pontoons and a complete new floor not a cheap undertaking along with other panels with a total of 29 replaced basically turning it into a new shell.
When you look at the spreadsheet list and it totals $26k plus then you factor in the original purchase price and all his labour on top if you are paying someone to do the restoration you just cannot duplicate it for any less imo.
It would be cheaper to find an Australian or Portuguese Moke imo as these seem cheaper to buy than their UK counterparts.
In 5 to 10 years this Moke will seem cheap.
I really thought you had it bought until the last couple of bids from the new bidder.
