Back in 1965-66, l was experimenting with hydrolastic suspension in my Austin Americas and stupicly decided to open the system by way of the screw nut under the bonnet, BANG !!!!, poor little Austin was sitting at 3/4 tilt with green slime all over me and the car

Was able to get it to Gulliver Motors for repair, still have the invoice

Awesome.. thanks everyone for the leads! 

Thinking of doing some destination drives this year to visit the birthplaces (or I guess it would be delivery wards?). If anyone has pictures of the locations, post them up. For fun I will take pics to compare how the site has changed.

Farther afield but still in Ontario, Long Island Motors in Manotick, with a branch in Ottawa on Richmond Road. There was another company on Montreal Road in Eastview (now Vanier, part of Ottawa.

I know of one and I live in BC! British United Automobiles, 737 Church St., Toronto. I found the address on Google Maps but it looks be all redeveloped. This address came to me from a piece of paper in a batch of BMC parts I picked up. I did a little digging online and found a list of all Austin MG Distributors & Dealers in Canada in 1971.

Does anyone have a listing of where the Mini dealerships used to be in the GTA? Pictures of the old dealerships would be cool too. Toronto/Hamilton/Barrie etc.
