As you stated these engines are not inexpensive to repair and i think with an oil delivery problem you are looking at a hornets nest. You would be way ahead to buy a used engine with comparable or lower miles than the boat anchor you currently have.

Ok, thanks the guy says it has an "oil delivery problem". That made me suspect an oil pump problem, I was considering a complete rebuild to be on the safe side but after looking online and calling around I am finding they don't sell a complete rebuild kit. I would have to order parts separate and piece the kit together. Just trying not to get into something that will cost a fortune to repair/rebuild. I am finding that Mini engines are a little more expensive than your Fords and Chevy builds.

Thanks for posting.

We don't have a set 'rebuild kit' as the kit will vary depending on the issue with the defective engine.  This will also affect the cost of the rebuild.

You will need to diagnose the problem before we can offer you an answer to your question....
