Picked up my recovered seats yesterday, What a nice day for a 600 mile drive! just a little inland hurricane/noreaster, with an ice storm tossed in for fun. Abby did a fantastic job, I am very happy with the result  Customs didn't want any tax either. Bonus pic of Muddy the mud cat, in Dunnville Ont.

Thank you for that, I was able to come up with 8 or 9 pic’s of the seats, some in Bond cars, other pics from contour 51 on MK1 site. The plan, for some winter entertainment, is to make a pair of exact copy’s, and a pair that sit 1.5” taller in the rear for use on some Honda seats I have. The originals have had a few extra holes weld filled and will be blasted, painted the original gray, and assembled with the adjusters and recovered seats. These original lower brackets were being used on the Honda seats. In the end I will provide some prints for others to go by just for the record.

Funny, thats my Black seat in the picture you posted. Let me know if you need any more pics.

Can you use your frames you have pictured without the need to have something fabricated?

Those seats were good enough for Paddy Hopkirk in 33 EJB for the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.

These are mine as received in gray, and how I think they should look in black, they are being recovered right now. The questions on the brackets is I am welding up some copy's of them, just want to make sure they are right.

Looks like a correct Microcell frame for a Mini.

My frame is similar but has offset spacers for the Mini seat brackets. Yours looks like it would line right up.

These are the lower mini brackets that came with my early contour 6 seats. I can find little information and only a photo or two of a type different than these. Are they correct for some vintage, or homemade? Cheers.
