How about SU carb tuning comparing various methods, e.g. wideband O2 meter, Gunson Colortune, spark plug reading, etc.

And who is David Vizard? is he a member of this forum? i want to meet him.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! We will be continuing to build our library of videos as we build our shop car and work on customer cars. The videos take a long time to film and produce but when you are passionate about something time is just a number  Haha nope i'm not Cole from classic mini DIY, but keep your eye out on Youtube as we are in the process of planning a collaboration with him. We will also be doing an alignment video soon where we will show our specially made alignment jig and how we use it. Any other suggestions for future tech tip videos you would like to see, throw them in the comments. Cheers!

Great video

I'm curious however about the reference to the red dot's being a more gradual rate.  As they are a competition/sport version, I thought them to be stiffer......the smooth-a-ride ones being the smoother.

nice , very detailed video, it’s very useful for people like me who ACTUALLY wrenches on my mini myself and not sending it to a shop, aaaanyway! Classic mini suspension will always be rough due to it’s limited up and down travel. Plus the fact that the rubber bushings are tiny, the cushioning effect is limited as well. I can feel the road vibration from the pedal as well as in my steering wheel.
the only way to minimize road vibration is to use hydrolastic suspension which is very very pricey.

I thought the guys name was Cole, of Classic mini DIY who just grow  his beard.  They have same tone of speaking.

i hope you make a video about classic mini wheel alignment, my mini pulls a little bit to the right.  Dunno what alignment tool to use , need advice steve...... thanks

Great video. I especially like the way the subframe is up on display where the various parts can be seen clearly. Well lit too!  (except for the welding shot ).

As we begin the first stages of building our shop car, we decided to do a breakdown of the suspension we have chosen for our fast road mini. Hope you enjoy!
