Mentally ill keyboard warrior rewriting history to suit himself.

Sad really, and sad that our hosts allow it to continue.

Ont he other hand, the description does mean that the poster could be in the White House...

Offer still stands d***wad - post a photograph of you stood next to your car with a tin of custard visible and a dated publication, provide me with a shipped address, and you can have the freshly rebuilt HIF 38 sat on one of the benches in my workshop.

If not, STFU.

well, first, send me the electronic distributor that you promised, you were never true to your promise, same old Alex, never changed.
A felllow from the other forum said you promised to send him Abutement part for the carb, and you never did...i told him you lied to me too.
Go back to your little place. Alex's offer was conditional on you providing photo proof you had a Mini, and to send him your shipping address, neither of which you did. He probably has several HS4 carbs lying about too.

I was formerly "a broken man on the Halifax Pier....the last of Barrett's Privateers". Actually lived right above it in Scotia Towers.

Yes, I know Barrett's Privateers.  Best version imo was by The Corries.
Probably best Group to come out of the Western Isles in recent years was Runrig.
Like the Rankins, they sang in Gaelic, and English/Scottish dialect.
An Abhal as Airde, is beautiful. Old Gaelic Hymn. English translation, The Highest Apple.
Hamish Hendersons anti war song "Freedom come all ye" from aftermath of WW1, sung by Luke Kelly is thought provoking.
As is, Calling doon the Line by Scocha.  Isla St Clair, singing Flowers of the Forest is also well sung.  Jim

Google.. Kevin Bloody Wilson singing DILLIGAF, and other Gems. My personal favourite is The Phone Operator Song.  Mick, my mate the Phantom Farter is also funny, as is Santa Claus song. Do not play it if any kids in vicinity. Very blue.
interestingly, you introduced me to The Rankin Family a few years back on a thread. Love them. Jim
Yep. I googles DILLIGAF and Kevin Bloody Wilson appeared on stage! Watched several videos and am still laughing. Right you are about them being "very blue".

I forgot I'd referred you to the Rankin Family.

Heard of Stan Rogers? He wrote "Barrett's Privateers" because he hardly ever got to lead in singing sea shanties. Sadly, his career was cut too short by an aircraft fire.

Funny how a post about Minis in Movies and hot Atomic Blondes turns into a discussion about pet skunks.

Yes thewerewolf,,
pedrito and jim didn't know that skunks can be house pets,,actually they are nice and huggable house pets. i like pet skunks.

please educate them 2 skunk haters.
Wrong again, Know all I need to know about skunks , including that they are good pets, don't want one or need an education on them, as always , you make an assumption and spout your baseless spiel without being informed, now , that's special!

BC, maybe you can bring the skunks to the CMU event?  would be cool to see them .
Jim: thanks for a new term to add to my lexicon. Had to look it up, but i'm sure it will come in handy.

Sounds like The S-pish-less is feeling isolated in his own little space, and is fed up feeling like a Leper.
Do they still have Leprosy where he comes from?  I know they had the Dreaded Lurgy...it either kills you, or leaves you stupid.

A dog and a cat, not that this has any importance in a Mini site, but Salty the dog does accompany me to some Mini events
