Sorry about the links. I just pulled off the cover and the diaphram spring off of the flywheel and now I can spin the primary gear. Could it be that I over tightened the diaphram? Also do the three bolts for the diaphram use washers?

One of those hard to follow links showed the diaphragm moving about, it could easily be disengaging. It makes me think that the primary gear is pinned tight, likely due to thrust issues.

still, that is just a guess. Sorry about your luck, but I am sure if you dismantle it and reassemble it enough times you will find the problem and be able to sort out a solution. Doing this in the car only enhances the learning experience.

So I just change my rear primary seal due to lots of leakage. I also change the clutch and the diaphram spring along with a new release bearing. The clutch was working fine before the change other then lots of slippage from the broken seal. Now when I press the clutch I can’t put it into gear while the car is running. I adjusted the clutch to the specs it should be at and nothing. What else should I check before I take it all apart again? I did the job with the engine in the car. Thanks.
