Yep, had a relatively new to me Mini at that time. I still have it! My first in the US I owned, 3rd overall. It's scary to think that my daughter was only a few weeks old for MMW 2003 (born July 2003), and she'll be driving by the Colorado event!

Indeed Peter, will be good to see you again...16 years later.  As I recall, MMW 2003 in Victoria was a Mini 'break in' event for your Mini.  Good to see you enjoying Minis over the intervening years.  Rick

It will be nice to see you again Rick. I think the last time was at MMW in Victoria - that's a while ago now!

I was thinking that, outside of the main event, there should be a run to the top of Pikes Peak. Maybe we'll do it as a semi-organized optional day... Be warned, last time I took a Mini up there in late June it snowed!

Just so I don't get in trouble, I should note that I don't speak officially for MOTR who is hosting. I am in the the loop though - I'm working on the car show event. 

I think Steamboat Springs would be a fabulous location - hollered up my late Father-in-law (much to my wife's embarassment) as he drove down the main drag - we had traveled with them until Missoula, Montana, they then went missing (auto tranny on the Ford 350 packed it in), until I spotted them in Steamboat Springs.

Will go to MMEMW in Colorado whatever destination is finally selected. The touring options are unexcelled elsewhere.

If in Steamboat Springs, west of the Continental Divide, some Mini owners are going to find mountains & mountain passes to ascend for the first time.  Welcome to the west!  

Whee ... You're obvious more in the know then most. I was merely repeating what was announced during the Club Leadership Meeting at MME'17. We all look forward to the official announcements this summer. See you in '19.

Hi - Colorado is confirmed. Steamboat Springs is one of the options however the final decision on location within Colorado has not been made yet. That will be announced at the end of MMW/MME as is traditional.

We certainly have a lot of nice photo opportunity spots here in Colorado!

That is my understanding too - EMW '19 will be in Colorado.

Long drive from Dayton OH, might have to send Betty over for some splendid tourist photos...

... and Mini Meet West 2019 SHOULD be in Scottsdale Arizona where there are lots of classic car enthusiasts ,the place is very nice tourists destination for classic car lovers. That’s where the Mecum auto takes place every year. The Arizona mini Club should push on this.

I’ve heard a rumour that Mini Meet East Meets West 2019 will be in Colorado. I hope this is true. Can anyone confirm?
