check the clevis pin, cotter pin or what ever is connecting the pedal to the push rod. I'm guessing something is slack there.

Explain 'click'...
Is it a sound you hear or something you feel through your clutch foot?
When does it occur:
- when you depress or release the clutch?
- with the engine off, or only when running?
- when you are coming on/off power while accelerating?
- when engine braking and going from a higher to a lower gear?
If you feel it through your foot, it could be anything mechanical from the pedal to the thrust bearing, possibly a worn part or parts due for adjustment or replacement. In any case, just throwing lubricant at a problem without knowing what the cause is will only hide it until it becomes critical. (You wouldn't want to lose your clutch while driving the Dragon, for example.
If it is a sound, a snap or creak while changing gears or coming on/off power, it could be loose, worn or broken engine steadies or mounts. When not properly secure, the torque can cause the subframe to flex the body. A creak or snap coming from the footwell could be metal fatigue in the floor pan.
So identify what you are hearing or feeling.

Well, remove the driver seat and lay down with your dorsal touching the floor, and face up. you will need a flashlight and a long nose pliers.

When I release the clutch I have this "click". At first I thought it was the pedal, but no. As you all know there is very little room to crawl down there and look. I can't see anything around the master cylinder, tighten up visible nuts. Down by the pedal can't see anything so just shot some WD-40 on the spring.
Anyone run into this before?
