Thanks Hugh! Of course that is an extra concern living in Cali. Anything I'd consider would be 1968 or older. I kinda have an itch for a Austin A40 Farina or maybe an A30 so that fits in the timeline. 

Just make sure that the car you purchase in the UK is acceptable in California. Some say 75 and older, some say pre-68. Get it right or yo have a piece of yard art.

BC: Just for the heck of it what sort of price point do you think you can get a car from the UK to landed in SoCal for? I'm not interested in this Moke but every now and then a car in the UK will catch my eye (usually US$10k or less in value) and I'll dismiss the idea.
