Thanks, Nick. I checked my all white, Liverpool Cooper S and it has 2-50S on it. Mr. Wheatcroft is never wrong! I don't know why I don't have any of the Mk II Commission numbers. I'll have to dig them up.

250S is Mk2 Cooper or S according to Mr Wheatcroft.

I was sent a photo of a car shell being worked on. Sliding window doors. The owner included a close up of the Commission number tag (the Chassis number is missing, evidently) and wanted to know what the build date was. The Commission number starts 250S. The tag looks original but it is not a number series I'm familiar with. Anyone recognize it?
